Over the past month and a half, Kansas City has gotten its fair share of moisture. In the form of blizzards. Yeah, I NEVER would have pictured living through this type of weather when I lived in Vegas. I think there must be something in this water though because… (drumroll please!)….. we are adding to our family again!

No, I am not pregnant.

ALISHA. Is not pregnant either. (Scared ya, didn’t I?) However, Alisha does have some good news… SHE IS GETTING MARRIED. I’d say there was a reason she was supposed to move out here, wouldn’t you? I’ve been waiting for her to blog about it (she finally did) so now I can share it with you. We kinda think he looks like Mike Tompkins. So that’s what we’ll call him here. But just so you know – he’s really *not* Mike Tompkins. They are getting married FOUR days after Logan and the Lion Tamer – it’s going to be a four-day long party with all our family, I’m sure of it. After all, you know how we like to shake our tailfeathers.

Speaking of parties… today is Valentine’s Day! I’ve always thought it was one of the best holidays ever, single or not. It must be because (for as long as I can remember) my mom has always done special things for all of us every Valentine’s Day. (Like she used to leave out cards and candy on the table for us every morning.) And now, even an hour away, I still woke up to this:

Yeah, that’s right. My mom is cooler than yours.

Happy Valentine’s Day, all of you!
